@mjea -
I started this thread a few years ago. There's some great rings in it.
Show me your Moi et Toi rings!
Is there already a thread about moi et toi rings? If not - I'd love to see any that PSers might have! Been crushing on these and the wheels are turning....www.pricescope.com
And just to add one of my own - this is my Victorian rose gold ring, with a matched pair of 7mm pale pink akoyas from Takahashi. It's divine.
@Neptune, thank you for finding this. It's good to keep these single-topic collection threads as a reference for comparisons and design concepts.@Starstruck8 , dug up this old thread and hope you would add your new creation here for future reference.
And in the Snake Jewellery thread:Both stones are sapphires from central Queensland. I had the kite for years, but could not think of a way to set it. Then I bought the trilliant, which is an unusual orange-brown colour, and saw that they would go together. The concept is a very schematic version of two snakes. 18K yellow gold.
I toyed with the idea of more realistic snakes, but thought it was too hard to find a sculptor/designer who could make it look right. So I chickened out and went for stylized.

This is my new, and first, Toi et Moi ring. I'm delighted with it.
An off-angle view, showing the 3-D form:
I told the story see the Men's Bling thread:
And in the Snake Jewellery thread:
I want to play!
Burma spinel & oec, moonstones, zircons, Unheated pink & green Boucheron
How dare I forgot that spinel oec! Yummy.
This antique Tiffany ring isn't mine (I wish!), but it has lived rent free in my head since I first saw it for sale at Lang's years ago:
Yours is yummier! But thanks
