Show me your tri-wire style rings please

I love tri-wire designs, I feel they have a really elegant quality to them. This is my vintage find. The band is quite thin so I find it very comfortable to wear... it’s the ring I wear almost daily.

@luxe - lovely ring and thanks for your response.
Do you happen to know the dimensions on the band (height and width)?

Bump... @LLJsmom et al -
Working on a new project, considering a tri-wire shank for a little something different. To all those that have tri-wire rings, do you find them as comfortable as a more conventional “D” shaped band? I plan to wear this ring daily, so comfort is a big consideration.

WIth regard to the one I have, yes just as comfy as regular band. Doesn’t bother me at all. Wear it everyday. No different from my other bands. My five stone band is much thicker. I would happily do it again, but only if I am comfortable with the jeweler. I would be happy with Caysie, EW or VC, or a vintage piece that I could try on.

It’s quite thin, both are around 1.3mm

I realize this thread is older, but here's a pic of my 3 stone tri-wire:

Eeek! ...sorry those are so BIG. :oops2:

I don’t know why people worry if the pictures are big - saves having to open them to see the details!

Yassss! The bigger the better!!! My eyes need as much magnification as possible and we are here to ogle the bling, right? Bring on the (big photos of) bling. :appl:

By Victor Canera. Can’t say how much I love his tri-wire work. Thought it would be uncomfortable. Not at all.

Will be a great reference thread.

A masterpiece.

Thanks @LLJsmom, @luxe and @msop04 for your input and pictures of your gorgeous rings.
@msop04 it was especially helpful to see your spinel ring because I am planning on having DK make this ring for me and also because I didn’t want cuffs but wasn’t sure how that would look, now I know I can go forward with my idea.

Were you wanting this exact ring?? Hmmmm.... ;-) #butseriously

ETA: I only ask bc I've worn this ring about 10 times... and that was years ago. :(

@msop04 your ring is beautiful; I just realized I used the wrong word in my reply, meant to say make “a” ring for me, not make “this” ring...

Well, darn! LOL ;)

I still haven't reset my diamond, but the inspiration rings on here are still my top choices along with possibly a 3 stone. I'll never decide! But I wanted to say, I love your current ring! I have a picture of it saved, too! Are you changing it or setting another stone?

Hi @diamondseeker2006, thank you for the compliment ; I am not changing my ring - 2.5yrs in and I am still in love with my choice of diamond and setting, although there are so many rings on PS to admire from afar that it is tempting at times to think about it...
This is for a new project, a “wearable” RHR.

Awesome!!! Can't wait to see it!

I LOVE tri-wire rings. I think this thread may be one of the best examples of hand forging vs. cast pieces. It's hard to place into words how beautiful hand-forged pieces are!

nevermind

So many exquisite examples here!

I'm wondering if anyone has ideas for search terms to use online for more tri-wire inspiration. The term itself doesn't yield much beyond VC.

As an aside, this Jessica McCormack piece will always be one of my favourites.
