You theoretically should not get MOP wet
The onyx bracelets are beautiful! Even though I wear mostly white metals, I really love the onyx more in yg. But after seeing it in wg, I do think it's beautiful! Love the perlee band and the bracelets!
@hathalove MOP can't be a 24/7 piece because it shouldn't go in water at all. I think MOP needs to have TLC to keep it in good condition. Really, all VCA should be taken care of that way as none of the stones are really extremely durable. Onyx and carnelian are the hardest at 7 on the mohs scale and likely the only ones I'd buy in a bracelet. That's kind of why I like having an all gold bracelet and then pendants or earrings can be with the stones.
@AGBF Regarding those earrings, I find the size slightly small, but they are a nice classic pair of earrings.

Oh great. Now I'm thinking I should return the MOP bracelet, but it was the color she liked best. I'll have to tell her to treat it with kid gloves.
As you know I am looking for my next everyday bracelet. I love wearing bracelets. This is so good to know about the VCA because I am loving the sweet size and was thinking that the mop sweet bracelet could be a sweet addition. Now not sure about that. I really love to wear my bracelets all the time. I definitley am a huge handwasher too especially with baby so... hmmm
I have only seen the sweet solid gold version in pink gold. I wonder if they make it in Yellow! I’ll have to check. What to do... diamond bangle, dbty, VCA sweet or even a chain style bracelet from Cartier.
I think she doesn’t have to baby it. Just don’t wear it if you’re in a place that can snag it a lot. I have worked out with both my sweets. I do chores around the house. I did not usually get them wet but if I am washing my hands I don’t bother taking it off. I have carnelian and turquoise and they have survived. I sleep with my rose gold vintage bracelet and have done everything with it. And I don’t take off my vintage pave diamond pendant unless I am running. That is just white gold and diamonds so can’t hurt it with water. This stuff is expensive so it should be enjoyed.@diamondseeker2006

I'd stick with solid gold (or platinum) and the only stones I'd consider for extensive wear are diamonds. Chain style are good and certainly DBTY is great alone or with another bracelet except I am a little paranoid about the diamonds scratching the other piece! I only wear tennis bracelets, VCA vintage 5 stone, and other nice bracelets when going to dinner or some other occasion beyond going to the grocery store or Walmart! Sweet solid gold would be fabulous paired with a dbty. I had that in mind, but the sweet diamond wg bracelet was almost as much as the solid gold vintage size 5 motif bracelet, and I thought the 5 stone was a better buy for a more significant piece.
I also like Tiffany's solid gold Infinity bracelets with a DBTY. I just don't know if tangling might be a problem with two thin chains.

@RosieR Love your RG band. Really sets off your diamond bands and gives your whole stack this feeling of whimsy and lightness. My intention for this ring was to wear it solo, as I work with my hands and I thought it would be good for beach holidays too, as no diamonds to get gunked up with factor 50, but still give me the visual interest that I crave. In the spirit of unboxing. . .
I don’t have a traditional wedding set and prefer the look of a larger eternity ring as by wedding ring. Here is the small perlee and a couple of diamond stackers with it
Edited to say this is the small perlee rose gold band
