How on earth do you decide which blue to wear!?

My decision is usually based on the colour of the metal. I don't mix WG with YG/RG. So I was gonna stack the agate with the lapis pave, since they're both YG; and I usually wear my WG TQ with other WG pieces.

Turned out the agate, even though beautifully blue, looked really "off" against the amazing blue lapis. It really bugged me. So I sold it to a local reseller.

Sure, I will try and do the shot as soon as I can.

Just dropped by the store to get the RG alternating rose gold guilloche and carnelian bracelet! The rose gold guilloche was more muted than expected and it really complemented this piece well as a softer version of the yellow gold guilloche.

There were so many variations of carnelian colour but got the bottom one as it’s a brighter red than the one on top!

I’ve seen the gossip about the 2021 holiday pendant, but what’s the consensus here among the PS VCA fans? I won’t buy a purple/rose gold pendant, I don’t think…

I have put off my first VCA purchase due to the low inventory and not getting to a boutique this summer. So I thought I’d wait to see what the holiday pendant was— and the time is almost upon us for the announcement! I would LOVE an all-gold option, but I doubt they would do it two years in a row.

What are your guesses?!

I wish they would do more pieces with the Guilloche technique. It catches the light so beautifully, photos don't do it justice, it has to be seen/tried on to be appreciated. I would adore a rose gold Guilloche piece of any kind.

There are many different speculations on porcelain, jade, or other options… but several people have said that “My SA from Taiwan says it’s definitely purple!” and other comments like that—SAs alluding to purple. This pic was just a mock-up of what someone did based on that chatter!

I love the idea of this, but I would need the Carnelian to be very very red and bright. The Guilloche doesn’t wear well on a bracelet, but it is so gorgeous on the neck. I would love the magic pendant if only I had the lifestyle and wardrobe to pull it off!

Someone in tennis at the Olympics wore a yellow gold vintage guilloche pendant and it was just so awesome how it caught the light.

I was in Chicago this weekend and popped into VCA. I tried on the bracelet and totally loved it. They definitely had stock

I stopped in at the NYC store recently - a few pics to share

I had vaguely wondered why VCA had both Frivole and Cosmos lines… Both flowers. Different number of petals of course, but… Turns out there’s another key difference between the earrings that explains so much. My SA explained that the Frivole earrings sit on the actual earlobe. So the bottom of the omega clip is visible, on the underside of the motif, from the front. They’re designed this way! The two Butterfly earrings are the same way. Alhambra, Cosmos, Rose de Noel… These are different, they’re designed to sit half on the earlobe and half below - so that’s why the clips are never visible from the front!!

Turns out I have a strong preference for the half-off-the-lobe look - I don’t have dainty earlobes and I hate seeing the clips. So I’m removing the Frivole pave and adding the Cosmos to my wishlist!

Weird angle I know. But oh. Those clips. Bah, humbug.

Love the BTF!! They had only YG and RG in store, no white unfortunately. I think I like the RG better on me, but I would stick with yellow to match the bracelet I already own…





And these. OMG. OMG. They cost a non-trivial percentage of my house but they’re glorious. And SO unbelievably delicate on the ears!! If I ever win the lottery…




I’m going on a buying ban. And will be scheduling regular Couch Cushion Raking sessions. I want to get both Cosmos earrings before the next price hike, whenever that happens I need group therapy to keep me honest!!
