@voce I took a picture of my favorite yellows, but they look a little different in person since my iPhone has washed their colors out. Try to ignore the fuzzies the black velvet box I keep the jars in sheds on to the white jar cushions. I don’t see them in person, but they are everywhere in pictures! The top left is a grossular garnet and the other two are chrysoberyl. I’m leaning towards setting the top right Chrysoberyl first. I think it’s cut and color look best when placed east-west, so I’ll have to step outside of my comfort zone of setting stones north-south and try something new
Do you typically go for solitaires or multi-stone rings? Even if you set stones east-west you can maybe flank the top right chrysoberyl with a couple of green stones. I think the garnet has a slightly orange hue, and I picture that one flanked by pink or purple. The big round is versatile in any design, but would tempt me to go big and grand! Something like CRD's Tudor pendant, which I've been wanting for a while, yet haven't picked any stones for since I just can't decide.
