Though I don't have anything to contribute, good topic idea, and nicely organized thread (I love the links to the originals!). We've got to get Amethyst's Lemony in here, too - 5 carat pear, and absolutely GORGEOUS!

Sorry I didn't keep a record of th orginal links- I just had those pictures saved in my Colored Diamond File.

Just remembered that there is another Yellow Diamond thread- check it out!!

Great job organizing this thread! So many beautiful rings and all the colors are so drool worthy!

Here is mine. It is a 1.21 fancy light yellow radiant. .60 points white diamonds, .10 pink. I bought it from Signed Pieces when
they still had good stuff. It is a Martin Flyer ring. I am thinking of sending it to Leon and having him make a new ring with
a yellow halo and a larger stone pink halo-so double halo two colors. I can't quite capture good photo's of it, but I get a lot of
complements on it. It is prettier in real life, I think.

Trying to upload a photo to PS2 for the first time, so I thought I would do some of my loose colored diamonds. Various shades of pink, yellow and green. The one on the bottom is a sleepy diamond and glows in the sun, very fascinating diamond, it is an orange/pink color. They range from 24 to 60 points. I think my favorite is the pink/lavender in the lower right hand corner (40 points) and 4.8mm.

Some of you may recall that I bought a yellow/brown/grey 1.56ct Asscher cut diamond recently and had a bit of a nightmare deciding what colour gold to use. Being a white gold fan I really wanted platinum but in all honesty it just looked yuck so I''ve settled for a compromise.

Although this diamond isn''t a chameleon it really does perform like one. These photos honestly represent what I see but I think the colour change is due to extremely strong fluorescence.

Anyway, here are the photos (lots of them - apologies in advance)!

This is the colour I see mostly. Believe it or not, the trilliants are F/G in colour but the yellow gold and/or the central diamond has really made them look yellow. That''s the only thing I dont like about this ring but I think they''ll grow on me!

Hey Cigwli, your stone faces up so large! It looks great! The one thing I don't like about my radiant is that it is 1.21 but faces up
more like a carat. Yours looks fantastic!

Awww thank you so much! I have to admit my finger size is about a 4 1/4. I have this one sized at 4 3/4, but I think it needs to be smaller (I gave too much room with the double ring thing I think). Also a lot of my "ring size" is due to webbing and padding on the back side so my finger looks smaller than it is. It really helps making stones look large. I don't think I'll have to worry about diamond shrinkage syndrome with these kid sized paws!

The cut though is fantastic on this stone. It faces up about the size of a 1 carat stone which I feel is just about perfect. For a colored diamond it's not overly deep and I appreciate that as I prefer cut to be good over trying to keep color. Whoever cut this stone did a great job of balancing everything. And now set people swear it is "deeper" in color than it is. So I got it all I think and am so lucky to have it!

Can you tell I am in love?

All 4 are natural diamonds with color of natural origin per GIA reports.

The green is my favorite.
The light performance of the big chunky facets of this old fashioned cut is out of this world, especially for an FCD.

Next is a piece that I feel I got completely right! In purchased all of the components on eBay, the South Sea pearl, the white pear diamonds, and the light brown round diamonds. This is a favorite of mine! The setting was done by Sally of Hearts of Water Jewels.

Ok so None of what I have is certified but I bought them all from trusted vendors and I trust their color grading skills, all of the stones were purchased loose and I designed the pieces...

The ring was my first colored stone design, They were sold as a set, the center stone Greenish Grayish Yellow (something like that) and they two sides Pinkish Brown (something like that). I really wanted to maximize the coverage and make an East West band with them so I sent Whiteflash my drawing and they brought it to life! I had them add two white asschers at the ends to make it a five stone look. I love the ring but I don't love the center stone in this setting, I think I'm going to have it replaced with a white emerald cut so I'll have a white pink white pink white going on and then use the colored center in something more flattering for the color, I have yet to figure that out!
