Question about SI1

This seems quite clear for a SI1?

It depends. Sometimes it's better to have several pinpoint inclusions making a stone a SI1 rather than one significant inclusion that could be a large, dark carbon spot. I'd definitely want someone to carefully evaluate this stone for eye cleanliness.

The clarity plot is not an accurate indicator of a stone being eyeclean. I agree with what MGR said, also.

I agree with MGR and DS. I would also clearly state what your definition of eye clean is. For many vendors it's half an arms length and face up, for others it's 8 inches. So,if you don't want to see any inclusions from the side from 4 inches,or 6 inches, whatever your preference is I would be clear with the gemologist.

Gwaipor just as everyone's suggesting to you, clarity can be really tricky, so you want to purchase from a jeweler who can take a close look and assess things for you (including sending you magnified pictures, etc if needed).
