Hey there :)

I am having problems determinig a ballpark size for side trillions to go with my center pear.
i am also going to include a picture of my current pear on my hand and another one that i love the proportion but know nothing of.
my ring size is about 5.5

my center stone (EC) is a little smaller in overall dimensions but I have .5 carat shields on each side. I dont think you should/could go smaller than that.

and the ring style i am trying to get to...

i was thinking about .65 each to reach about 6.5mm... I want them to be noticeable and in proportion... its a harder task than what I thought it could be... :P

Who will set it? I think they can help you with the best proportions and most likely take photos for you too of different combos.

Lemony girl,

Love LOVE LURVE the trillions! With that size of pear I think that is a good choice!

I don't know why I am so stuck on this suggestion for proportion inquiries...it may be that I played with paper dolls as a kidlet...but here is once again ...my suggestion...

Print two copies of this chart and cut out your trillions. See how much room you have to play with from the point of the stone to the side of the pear.

If you have to, take a charcoal rubbing of your pear and transfer that to paper. (the halo of the ring may hamper the exact trial run...so just cut Lemony out in paper form). Then play with the trillion cut outs. It should help you arrive at some clearer starting point of size that is right for you, lemony and your size finger.

CasaBlanca's infamous Paper Doll Cutouts...

Sure wish I could come up with more material...this advice is getting old isn't it? Ha Ha.

I think I would also leave it to the person making the ring...
