I was quoted close to 5k for two tapered brilliant bullet side stones >.50 ct a piece. Is this high or not? Thanks

I am no expert but it seems high to me. You ought to get some other quotes.

So $2500 each? Hmmm... a .50ct RB of those specs is only about $1700 MAX, so it seems very high for bullets.

actually I paid about $7500 for two .5 carat kites. they are top top quality EF vs stones. most side stones are garbage--they are very shallow and usually have no crown. IF they are really well cut that is a fair price

It wasn''t Leon but I thought is was high. I am not sure I want my sidestones to be a lot more beautiful than the center stone.
