Wow, I bet it was a big change from VA to NYC. What area of VA? My hubby grew up in Richmond and now his parents live near Tappahannock, VA.

Skippy I love the pictures! The land looks just like I envisioned it in my mind, it''s beautiful, and the cows are good looking too! Thank you for sharing those pictures, I just got the chance to log on to PS today and found them and they did put a smile on my face!

Sarah, love the pics you posted, especially you with the shotgun/rifle/whatever you call that thing, lol! I never learned to shoot...when my dad took my brother and me to hunt rabbits or deer I would always scare away the game on purpose so he never wasted time trying to teach me to shoot, knowing I didn''t want anything to do with it!

If you believe it, the town is actually called Farmville. Not everyone lives on a farm, though. It''s about an hour and a half southwest of Richmond. Sadly, Richmond is the closest major city. Costco, the mall, all the great restaurants... an hour and a half away.

Don''t worry--I only shoot clay pigeons. Target practice can be fun, too. And it''s a shotgun.
