Okay I couldn't resist...here are a few pictures of my dog Duncan (well he's technically my parents' but I lived with him for a few years before leaving for college so I still claim him!)

My parents call him the world''s largest lapdog because at over 100 pounds, he cannot understand why the cats should get to sleep in people''s laps but he shouldn''t!!

(Also he''s not allowed to sleep on the couches at home, so whenever we go to my aunt''s house where he is allowed to, he is NONSTOP sleeping on that couch!!)

MrsS - My brother has a yellow lab and his fav way to sleep is on his back just like the pics of Zoe!

Albi - Duncan reminds me a lot of the black lab we had growing up!

As always- I love the pictures of Portia- She is even funnier in person. So sassy!
Albiocca- I love Duncan! He is so Cute and I lOVE that name for a pup!
Boomer thinks he is a lap dog too, even though he weighs 70 lbs. he still wants to snuggle and sit on me or DF. The other thing that is so fabulous about Boomer is he is SO HAIRY! We always take a little of him with us whereever we go because he is quite the shedder!
I love him though.

So honestly- how many of you sing to your dog(s)?

Aww, this is the most adorable thread ever! I have to get some of Bella''s sleeping pics on my computer. She''s just so adorable when she''s sleeping, I have like a dozen pics. Her favorite position is on her back with all four paws straight up in the air or with her head on our pillows like she''s a person.

Here''s one of Jack. He''s all grown up now, but still adorable. He was sleeping like that, with his toy in his mouth, but opened his eyes just as I took the picture.

Don't they grow up so fast?

I absolutely love this picture. I took it the second day she was home with us...she was only 4 lbs (but a little chub!), and she'd sleep about 15 times a day.

In this one he is about to "timber" into sleeping position. The ears and the eyes always give away the "timber" move. (as dubbed by myself and hubby).

How did I miss this thread?!?!?! GREAT idea Mara, Portia is too precious, what a little lady! Here is one of my two mini foxies, Bubbles, taken on Christmas night last year. Too much Christmas cheer!!

more sleeping puppies!!! i love them all.

Di, i love when they sleep on their sides like that, it just cracks me up all the time when i come upon Portia and she's like that. typically she opens an eye and looks at me if i hover over her while she is sleeping...i call it 'wild eye'...

she's also very prone to suggestion, aka if she is laying down and looking at me and i go 'sleepy...sleepy'...she eventually closes her eyes. it's kinda funny.
