Hi all,
I was wondering where I could find a nice pair of blue sapphire studs (heated is okay but no BE diffusion) for a gift for my sister for her master's graduation, she likes blue a lot. My budget is about $60 / 45 Euros. I have already found one pair from an approved vendor in that range and another from an Etsy vendor who looks fairly legitimate. They are very small but they are genuine, but wondered what my other choices might be for this or if anyone could find anything else before I pulled the trigger. Blue topaz or blue spinel is another option I'd be willing to go with but I think she would prefer a darker color such as spinel or sapphire as opposed to topaz. I was thinking simple setting in silver, probably, for cost's sake so that the money can go into the stones instead, such as bezel or 4-prong.
Thanks for your help!
EDIT: Kyanite might also be acceptable, but I don't know anything about that gem. Can someone enlighten me?
EDIT: I forgot this until just now, but she also does like moonstone and has a moonstone necklace already that she could have earrings to go with, so moonstone studs are one more option, as long as they have a little of that blue to them.
