Alright, I have purchased the earrings for her so I will now share the vendor. I did hold off on buying myself a pair because I want to see what Santa might bring.

The vendor is Jessi from "Jessi and the Crew at Distinction Jewelry" on Etsy. She is not on the long sticky-ed vendor list, but I have asked about her on here before and she came recommended by others. The shop name if you look for it on Etsy is "jetflair." I usually just google "jetflair etsy" and it will bring it up.

I can't believe that you can get earrings for $60! I'm just now checking back in on this thread after reading your initial request and going away shaking my head thinking it couldn't be done. Leave it to good old ingenuity and perseverance once again.

You should really check out her site! She has some beautiful stuff and a good bit of it is quite affordable! She's got a custom page too so you could request something probably and she also has some really nice loose stones, some of which are fair trade which I know appeals to a faction of readers on here as well.

I believe they are heat only, per the vendor; the page says heated. I believe she would disclose if they were BE as well because one time I saw a pair of filled rubies on her site and she did disclose that.

Her website is www.distinctionjewelry.com.. I just found it, I did not realize she had an official site as well as an Etsy page. She also discusses her company policies/ethical jewelry bit on there. She does say on there it is her policy to disclose all treatments. That seems consistent with what I have seen on various Etsy items I have looked at.

She received them! She likes them. She didn't send me a pic of the earrings up close, but she said they are very purty.

Green sapphires personally I really like these.

Very nice, these two are my favorites, the cabochons are really pretty too.
