So I''m sitting on the floor in the living room wrapping gifts for FH''s best friends'' kids. Doing my thing, humming and everything!

FH... asks me to wrap my gifts (there was an ''S'', I caught it!!)

...are you KIDDING me? Well I NEVER

I told him no (with a ''hmph!'' sound) and explained my snooping history and how I was so proud of myself for not snooping last night when he went out and he changed his tune to supportive mode.

And he was serious??

At any rate, I''m very proud of you for not snooping. Now you will be so excited when you open your gifts.

My mom has been known to have us wrap our own gifts. It''s not just men...

I hope that your non-snooping pays off and that you''re pleasantly surprised on Christmas morning.

i''m probably the worst snoop ever. when i lived at home, i would TRY ON the clothes that my parents bought. only it was only a 50% chance that it was mine, because my sister and i were the same size. this year though, i am so proud of myself for not knowing about anything!!! ...although that''s probably because i don''t live at home and i told my BF that i snoop so he has everything at his parents'' house. hehehe!!

I don''t snoop. (Unless you count looking at what''s been purchased off your registry as snooping. I did that quite a few times). I don''t like to ruin surprises. I''ve had to stop playfully asking my husband for hints about surprises because he gives too good of hints, and I end up figuring it out. So, I try not to go looking for gifts. If I do find one on accident, I always hopf I''ll forget about it by the time the occasion rolls around (but I never do and have to pretend to be surprised, which I''m not very good at). I''ve told my husband to store gifts in the attic because I do not climb up there for any reason whatsoever.

Miranda, your post made me lol!!! I do some of those things. I like to know what I am getting but I am worse at wanting to tell people what they are getting. I get sooooo excited buying presents that I can''t wait for friends/family to open their gifts. I made my hubby open his Christmas gift early. I know how I am so now I try really hard to buy things at the last moment.

Here is an example. It was a few days before my SIL birthday and I talked to her husband about getting her a spa package (massage, pedi and mani) and I paid for it over the phone w/the spa people and they told me the gift card would be arriving in the mail. I started to think well I better tell my SIL so she is on the look out for it in the mail. gosh, I am bad but I love buying people gifts; it is the waiting that kills me

. hehehe

OH,I HATE waiting for my husband to get his gifts. I''m very terrible about spilling the beans, and he would prefer to wait for the day and proper time. I havea much harder time keeping a secret than waiting for my own surprises....

IIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii didn''t snoop. I didn''t snoop! IIIIIIIII DIDN''T SNOOP!

And I got a Northface jacket (which I totally didn''t expect, they''re expensive

) a garlic press, a turtle decal for my new car andddddddddd chocolates. OH OH AND I got Planet Earth on DVD. Which I''m utterly obsessed with. I love that mini series.

I''m so freakin proud of myself I could explode!

I''m the worst snoop ever. My bf has heard so many stories that he leaves all of my presents at his sisters house until about 2 days before. And since he''s in grad school, he''s home all the time after he brings them here, so I can''t do ANYTHING.

When I was younger I would open the paper to see the side of whatever it was and then close it back up. I should mention that this is when I was getting toys, so most of my presents were in boxes (mostly Barbie stuff). Once when I was about 3 my dad and I bought a present for my mom (no idea what it was) and he wanted to hide it somewhere where she wouldn''t find it. I said, "Daddy, we should hide it in the closet in the garage, where she hid my presents."

Yeah, I''m really bad about that snooping thing.

I know I''m late, but.....

My grandma actually unwrapped one of her gifts, wore the outfit, rewrapped it and put it back under the tree, unwrapped it on Christmas morning, and said "Oh, and it''s just my size!"

We were celebrating over my parents'' house, so we brought the gifts over early. She called back later when the temptation to snoop set in, she said we must really trust her or think she got over the snooping bug to bring the gifts over.

Day before Christmas she got busted! Her "excuse" to my dad was, "You were supposed to be across the street looking at the lights! I didn''t peek; I only squeezed!"

So, she knew what my grandma got her. She didn''t notice one from me just in a bag... had she known it was for her she would have peeked.

OH, and when getting this year''s presents down, my dad found one from several years back stuffed at the back of the closet on the top shelf.

She''s so bad!
