After a long hiatus from pearl buying, I went a little crazy and bought all these between August to October:
1. Tahitian drop strand from the August PP Tahitian sale
2. "Acorn" Galatea carved earrings from September PP Connoisseur sale
3. Blue baroque akoya earrings from September PP Connoisseur sale
4. Sea of Cortez mabe "queen bee" pendant
5. A pair of loose Tahitian drops from Golay Singapore
6. Another pair of smaller loose Tahitian drops from Golay Singapore
7. A pair of loose GSSP drops from Golay Singapore
8. "Wave" multi-colored Tahitian rope from Golay Singapore
9. Tahitian off round rope from the August PP Tahitian sale
10. "Russian doll" pearl from the September PP Connoisseur sale
11. Charm bracelet comprising of 11 loose pearls from the September PP Connoisseur sale
12. Two ripples from the October PP sale
13. Strand of triple blue baroque akoya during the October PP spooky sale
14. A circled Tahitian pendant from a Japanese vendor at the local jewelry fair
15. And I was also very lucky and won a pair of silver Tahitian studs from Golay Singapore from its daily lucky draw during the local jewelry fair...
And then I also finally set the loose pearls that I got from Golay Singapore last year:
16. Cherry Tahitian studs
17. Oval GSSP pendant with rose overtone
18. A pair of GSSP drops
19. A pair of light peacock Tahitian drops
I know, it's a lot and so I think I'm done for a while...
In the next few posts I'll give a bit of background for some of the pearls before posting their glamor shot (if I have them), and other photos. It's a lot to post at one go so bear with me as I try to do this over a few days. Plus I've only just received items 9 to 13 tonight so I need a bit of time to get to know them and take photos.
