But my lovely BF/fiance has just been informed that my ring will be done on February 2nd! I''ve been so worried about when it would be done, and when we could go find wedding rings, as our wedding is now 6 weeks and 4 days away, that I''m glad to finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I am soooooo excited, I can''t even begin to tell you! I would like to thank Renee for being so extremely helpful to Weston during his search for my stone, and during the design process. He has told me he would definitely want to work with Whiteflash again, which bodes extremely well for me.

So Ladies and Gentleman, I''m so sorry I have no pics or specs, or anything, because he''s been so very secretive as to what it will look like, but I DO know that it''s an Asscher!

Well, luckily the honeymoon is all taken care of. Nevis, here we come! We''re actually planning what we''ll be doing while we''re there tonight. I''m signing up for nearly every spa service available. Woohoo!

Dress and headpiece - check.

Shoes - check.

Wedding location - check - and it includes flowers, music, photography.

Small reception at a friend''s house in Vegas - caterer and photographer and some music pretty much taken care of.

Announcements - well, we''ve called everyone for the wedding in Vegas, and we''re sending out announcements and invitations for a reception and symbolic vow renewal that my parents are throwing in Reno in July. My FI is a digital artist, so he will be designing them and printing them out. That''s pretty much his only job.

We''re only having one attendant each in March, and probably only about 25 people total at the wedding itself. My sister''s dress is ordered, and I''m really not concerned with what the Best Man wears yet.

We still have to register for the big party in July, which will be about 100 people, all my Mom''s family, etc. That''s not until July 9th, so I''m not too worried about that just yet. Have to get through Wedding #1 first!

Nope, it''s on a Thursday at the Bellagio . . . I''m from Las Vegas so it wasn''t difficult at all to get the location.

My parents just reserved the museum in Reno for our July reception.

This is so exciting! But how did you choose your wedding band without seeing the e-ring?

I specifically asked Weston for a ring that I can wear a 2 or 3 mm pipe cut band along with it. My intention was to eventually get the 11 stone asscher wedding band, and if I had more time between paying for the wedding, and buying a wedding ring, I would have opted for that one.

Now I just have a future anniversary gift lined up.

Likewise! Mine should be very simple, straight lines and I''m almost certain it''s bezel set. I really waned back and forth between pave and halos - and the simple lines of my favourite jewelry. I decided that Hest''s sister''s Asscher was about the prettiest setting I had ever, EVER seen - it''s a double bezel with a ton of antique aspects, and miligraining. I''m a bit more modern, so I wanted something in that style.

We''ll see what he finally came up with - he''s been desiging rings for me since about our 2nd year together - and they''ve all just been soooo gorgeous!

I can''t wait to see it, either! But actually, I''m unbelievably calm . . . it''s really weird because I''ve been engagement obsessed for over 2 years, and now all of a sudden - BAM - it''s happening!

I think that I might have preferred to have a teeny bit more time as an engaged couple, and be able to throw the term fiance around a bit more, but on the whole, I''m so extremely excited about us finally becoming a family and making that commitment to each other. We''ve never been a very traditional couple, so the way it''s all unfolding is exactly "us".

The best part about it is that he designed it, he found the stone - and he apparently restrained himself from showing it to me because we pretty much like to have each other's input on everything important that we do. I love that he's excited about it, too! I don't know if I'm going to get the all romantic proposal, because he couldn't wait the 2 days until Christmas to give me my sapphire/diamond band that I wear . . . I doubt he'll have the restraint to not just shove it at me after it arrives.

Either way, I'm so unbelievably elated and consider myself so blessed to be marrying him . . . he is just so wonderful and perfect for me!

I thought I'd have better news to report on this Groundhog Day, but Weston informed me as we took our evening walk last night that he is making me wait a few more days. There were apparently some changes that needed to be made to the ring before he lets it leave WF, and he said he wants it to be absolutely perfect.

I'm actually really disappointed - I thought he'd have it by the weekend.
