I thought I''d have better news to report on this Groundhog Day, but Weston informed me as we took our evening walk last night that he is making me wait a few more days. There were apparently some changes that needed to be made to the ring before he lets it leave WF, and he said he wants it to be absolutely perfect.
I''m actually really disappointed - I thought he''d have it by the weekend.
My fiance did the same thing. He proposed to me the next day.

Honestly, I think it's sweet, too. I just thought he'd be more proactive about making sure things were going well without me having to remind him to email WF. Ahhh, boys.
Planning for the wedding is pretty much all finalized. I just need to get a final total from the Bellagio (thank God for their wedding coordinators) and I'm good to go. Our dinner party is all sorted out too . . . just hired a caterer to make a small cake as well as a pretty casual seated dinner with our 20 guests.
The real party happens in July, but I don't even know if I'm going to wear my dress for that one yet.
The dress should be ready next week, and I'm taking in a veil I bought on Ebay to have her shorten it - just to see if I like it at all. Bought the pearl earrings I wanted last night so that's a wrap!
So, yeah, the only thing holding me up is the ring, so I can order our wedding rings.

Hopefully it''s a quick fix whatever it is...or maybe he really is just trying to surprise you
Holding thumbs that he just wanted a small change and it will still be ready by this weekend. He did tell me I could make plans with my friend this weekend though, so I''m pretty sure it won''t be then . . .
