Ritani does not even sell moissanite so your jeweler has to be wrong.
 
Moissanite is doubly refractive so under a microscope very easy to identify.

You can spot a moissanite with your bare eyes. Just hold the stone really close to your one eye and look for the “rainbows”. A moissanite will have two set of rainbows where the diamond will only have one. If the other stone is a “confirmed” diamond, just compare the reflections of the two stones.

I think it is much more likely that the tester shows the wrong result than the other being a moissanite.

Those small rainbows are different for different stones. You can tell a CZ from a moissanite or diamond with just a little practice. With more practice you can use the moon for a light source to really impress your gemologically inclined friends.
