Seeing as there''s a post about our occupations, I guess it only makes sense to ask the question: What does your husband, wife etc. do for a living?

So, I''ll go first...

My husband is a corporate lawyer, in his 8th year of practice, at one of the big (read: dull) NYC firms.

My husband is an engineer for MCI. Or will be till the buyout by Verizon takes his job. No promise he''ll be able to keep it after the buyout, even temporarily, and no promise that he won''t.

If he doesn''t have a job out of this he will go back to school for something new and more stable I think.

My husband is an engineer for Water''s Corporation (world leader in laboratory instruments: HPLC''s GC-MS etc). YAWN......he loves his job though, and his ideal of bedtime reading is manuals and circuit board diagrams.

My husband (hee hee hee) received his BS in Computer Science in Dec 2003 and currently he is an in-home computer technician (he replaces warrantied hardware in peoples'' home and office computers on-site). Meanwhile, he is also looking for an intro-level programming position.

Hi to all...My husband has his degree in accounting and does taxes every year for a select group of folks...His "day" job/career is probably better described...he is a computer software business consultant who is trained to adapt, amend, or completely change out any given company''s software to better enhance a company''s ability to keep track of their financials, which customizes programs for. Whew! That is a mouthful...He also is a temp chief financial officer at times for companies who have this sort of need for a short time(3 weeks to 6 months usually).

My hubby and I jointly own a dance studio and a flower shop locally in our community...he handles the financials for both, along with marketing, and advertising.

Quite a busy guy...and I am blessed to have him!
