She is great..., she has some cool necklace designs with caged rock-crystal oval balls..., but she is famous for her Moonstone designs.Date: 12/26/2007 5:20:44 PM

I got a lovely moonstone ring from Hubby. It''s in 18K YG with a diamond halo by Temple St Claire. When Diamondfan and I get together we''ll post some pics. Have a feeling moonstones are hard to photograph.. It has a very vivid blue hue. I love it!!!
Oh my, it''s just stunning!Date: 12/26/2007 12:25:16 PM

Here is a side view of my new pretty! He has exceptional taste for someone so young.
And thanks, I can''t wait to see this ring either!
I do the same thing. Often I forget about what it was I even wanted or change my mind anyway so I find it is better to wait. I have had buyers remorse though (you know, when you wished you bought it but it is no longer available...) and that is a terrible feeling!Date: 12/26/2007 7:38:32 PM

No rocks for me for Christmas this year...DH and I don''t go crazy at Christmas on gifts to each other because we try to spend on others before ourselves, plus this Christmas was a lean one altogether. I lost my job back in June and took a couple months to find another, better, but totally different one that pays about half of what I used to make, and I''m paying for my orthodontic work, so there just wasn''t room for anything of the natural sparkly variety this season. I''m looking forward to Valentine''s Day...my boss gave me a gift card redeemable at any Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, so I''m planning on surprising DH with that for V-Day and maybe by then we''ll have accumulated a little more in our savings account and possibly there will be room for something small and blingy at that point as well.
I was thisclose to purchasing a pair of blue topaz studs from work on Christmas Eve...they were about 8ctw square cuts in these gorgeous YG settings with jumbo backs, on clearance for $150...I just couldn''t justify the purchase, though, since I don''t NEED them. I did try them on, though, and they looked fab. Maybe for New years...I will have to discuss them with DH if they last through next weekend. (I like to play those mind games with myself...you know, ''if they''re still there by such-and-such date, they''re meant to be mine!'') LOL!
Congrats to everyone who received something sparkly this Christmas! I can''t think of a better tangible gift to receive besides jewelry!
Kaleigh - I''d LOVE to see your moonstone ring! There are a pair of earrings at a chain B&M that I''ve been thinking of getting. They''re really pale color though, so I would assume they''re not that high of quality, but they''re fun I''d love to see "vivid blue hue."Date: 12/26/2007 5:20:44 PM
