Hrm...I guess I should buy some "proper cleaner" because the instruction book says not to use anything ammonia, acidic or flammable...and they list mr clean in that lineup. As well as Drain-O. Who uses drain o to clean jewelry?!

Maybe someone who uses the professional ultrasonics can chime in here about this...

Hmmm, he did not mention a 1.5 qt. to me when I ordered my GemOro yesterday. How much was the 1.5, Ame? Does it have heat?

I think the 16-ring rack was about $3.50-ish. Not a big-ticket item by any means, but I wanted to be able to hang my rings and now have them hitting each other while they are vibrating.

I have a small tea ball that I use in my US for my earrings (yes, the kind you put tea leaves in

). I told the man on the phone yesterday about this little trick, and he laughed. He said he had never heard of a tea ball before.

You have to wait 10 minutes for the ultrasonic cleaner to heat up? My jeweler said heated version are for store and it suppose to run all day. If you clean yourself at home and have to wait for 10 minutes, I would just get a glass and heat it in the microwave and use a non heated US cleaner

i just use cold water and dawn dishwashing liquid in the machine.
