Software for Ring Design?

Hi,

Is anyone aware of any software/flash that is capable of modifying/customizing ring designs? Particularly the ability to modify the diamond sizes, as well as the thickness of bands.

I was thinking of using a 3D modelling software from my uni days to design a ring, but it''d be quite a hassle to have to find that software again for use!

Also, has anyone come across ring settings with colored gemstones embedded within the rings, or as a very small side stone?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are several specialty CAD systems available for jewelry design. These guys seem to be the market leader at the moment.

It runs on the Rhino CAD engine (which is free, unlike the gemvision product above although it''s a LOT more work to design directly in Rhino)
