Does anyone know what the name for the setting is? I have pretty much the same setting (from a Hatton Garden jeweler) and I've always wondered what an accurate description of it would be.

I'm curently trying to decided on a ct weight, and I really like the size on your finger and we are about the same ring size....I'm a 7.5...huge compared to most Psers, Thanks for posting pics, funny how ct weight looks bigger when you are viewing it on someone elses finger. Your ring is amazing, enjoy it!!

Then I read that you don't.
Well, prongs are supposed to be prominent IMHO, those are beautiful, and I wouldn't touch it!
In any case, beautiful ring, beautiful diamond, great deal. Congrats!

Thanks Danny!
I think my issue was that I had focused on finding the perfect setting for so long, that when I finally got it set I was still focusing too much on the setting and not on the ring as a whole or even on the diamond itself. In the end, I am very happy with it.
