Up for sale is a matched pair of 1.40ctw diamond earrings in 14k white gold basket settings with screwback posts, I'm selling these for my SIL.
Each stone is GIA certified. These have been hardly worn since purchased in 2006. I am happy to provide soft copies of the certs via email. Contact me via the listing url below.
Stone #1: Round Brilliant, 5.67-5.70mm, .72c, H, SI2. GIA Cut Grade: very good.
Stone #2: Round Brilliant, 5.63-5.67mm, .71c, I, S12. GIA Cut Grade: very good.
I had these looked at by my local jeweler, who I work with all the time, and very much respect their opinion and they said, without knowing anything about the stones, that they looked to be F/G color. Obviously the GIA certs show H and I, but hopefully this will assure the buyer that the stones face up pretty white. The stones are rated VG cut by GIA, and show well formed arrows, see the pictures. These are a great option for someone who wants flash for the cash, but does not want to break the bank with official H&A stones. The pictures should hopefully speak for themselves!
Matching comps to stones such as these are found ranging from $2100-2500 per stone, making the set $4200-5000 depending on vendor. Then your mountings would be at least $150 for the set, putting you at $4350-5150. The high end is for H&A stones.
The price for this set is $3000 which is at minimum a 35% discount off retail, or best reasonable offer.
Since Diamond Bistro is down and my SIL wants to offload these, I posted my listing here...it's my first time trying it so hopefully this site works, lol! More pics in listing and I can send more via email.
