SOLD STUNNING 1 ctw 5 stone band in 14k white gold size 6

Hello All,

I bought this band for myself intending to have it sized to an 8 for my RH. Unfortunately it can't be sized that high (it can be sized slightly just not two whole sizes). It fits my left hand and is very comfortable but I don't need another diamond ring for that hand and reseting it into a larger setting is outside of my current budget.

It is in great condition. Polished, plated and ready to wear.

The diamonds are WOW beautiful. You can see from the pics that they are white, fiery and have arrows. And most of you know what a terrible picture taker I am, so trust me when I say the band is beautiful not my photography. LOL.

The diamonds are G-H SI eyeclean. And 20 points each.

Am asking $1500. Comps for similar bands are at 3000 new.

Too bad about the sizing! It looks lovely on you and I wish you could keep it, but otherwise hopefully it will go to a good home.

It's really a quality piece and performs beautifully. Part of me is hoping it doesn't sell so I have to keep it. It's really comfortable too. Sigh.... I'm honestly really torn about this one.

I got the quotes for the larger setting, which would be platinum and bar set (to provide coverage for the size 8 finger) and I just... I can't see myself being able to afford it anytime soon.

I hate to ask, but any chance you could take a "real life" photo from further away? Probably shouldn't be looking, but I'm tempted.

I can, tomorrow. And will. But keep in mind that the stars aligned and planets were in a favorable orbit for me to have gotten the pics I did today.

Cross your fingers that I have even half the luck tomorrow, and that I'm not back to my horrendous normal skills level.

esme-- I know. My RH is 2 full sizes larger than my left. It's a pain.

Do you think would make a good wedding band? I would have to reset it in platinum/rose gold because of some allergy issues and I'm wondering if that would be cost prohibitive.

It's a blingy look as a stand alone, if you want to pair it with another ring, I would suggest trying to on similar bands locally to see if it's a look you like.

When I was looking to reset it, I contacted ID and they had a decent price on a reset (I asked for a stock bar setting in platinum). You can ask, the diamonds are 20 points so there are a lot of stock settings out there.

Hi Honey, I've got one buyer that's pretty certain she's going to buy. So she's first in line. So tell you husband when he emails me to explain who he is so I'll know he's second in line. I keep getting queries for this.

Other problem is my DB account has been BUGGY AS HELL. Half the time I can't even SEE my messages. And then I get messages from people telling me they've been trying to get through for days. So if I GET to his email, the first thing I'm going to do is send him my personal email so we can talk, bug free.

The other catch is. I'm not 100% sure I WANT to sell because I DO love the band and each day that passes I get more attached. I've a TON of offers for it and have been like goldilocks. I was selling because it doesn't fit my RH someone contacted me though my WTB sapphire listing with a nice stone for a RHR. But they are unsure if they are selling their sapphire now. So it's this mess, of... if I sell the band and they don't want to sell the sapphire then I'm left with no band and no sapphire.

I'm just not sure what to do. Go ahead and sell the band? And risk it?

First world problems.

T-gal and Dreamer. You are both right, I know and I listened. It's so PRETTY though! *stomp, stomp*. But ultimately it can only be sized only to 7 or 5 and my RH is an 8. On the plus side I may be I may be able to buy that sapphire. SO... given you and Dreamer's boost: I agreed to one of the offers for the band. So I'm just crossing my fingers the sapphire seller agrees to the sale of the sapphire. I really REALLY REALLY want a sapphire RHR (whole reason I sold the OEC in the first place).

SO-- SALE PENDING (funds need to cleared and what not) on this band to a REALLY sweet buyer (Although truly every buyer I've sold anything too has been awesome and I've been so happy to deal with them). I'll be on vacation next week, but will have my smart phone. Although I'm planning on leaving it in the room.

Skippy I could have, and was planning on doing so (even asked for quotes) but it really just blows my budget for bling to do so.

FINGERS CROSSED FOR THE SAPPHIRE SALE TO HAPPEN.

And for my Persian rug that's on consignment locally to sell, so I can SET the sapphire. LOL.
