Whomever reported this fake post under my profile: thank you!

I went through my post history and deleted a bunch of posts that did not originate from me...my password was just changed to hopefully combat this and prevent any further issues.
 
@DejaWiz I reported it - after what happened to me yesterday which I posted about I was on high alert thinking they may get to someone else’s account and these didn’t seem right!

This seller is giving me suspish vibes as well. I reached out to them about this ring, and they quickly pressured me to cashapp or Zelle them, and in our back and forth exchanges, some of the text in my emails was changed to Turkish. I asked if they could confirm this is a CvB band (because it is) and they had no idea what I was talking about.

They have hacked that account too. That's actually someone that sells a decent bit of stuff. I'm probably going to change my password as a precaution
 
I just changed my passwords too. Maybe someone with details should post a PSA on Rocky Talky?

Thank you lala646! I was going to jump on that- but thought it was odd it wasn’t described as CVB and thought one of us would’ve mentioned something and here’s the thread…. Will be changing my pw also…

I wrote to the email in the contact info on their website.

They the real mjgabel has written me back and asked for a contact for LoupeTroop which I can't find. Is there an admin there that any one is aware of? I suggested that they change their password but don't know what else to suggest.

I just got another email from mjgabel who says they tried to change their password but they can't because the fraudster changed the email associated with the account. I asked if they could even get into the listings to try to terminate the fraudulent ones. Haven't heard back yet.

Ok, makes sense, but also, that's crazy. I'm so sorry! I'm moving to only paying with PP G&S and when they wouldn't agree to that, hard nope from me.

I saw the other thread and am sorry you got scammed. At least a few of us have read your warning and we’ve all been alerted so as to also not fall for the scheme. Thank you for sharing. It’s a real shame when unscrupulous people take advantage of the lovely community we have here and put our trust in each other in question!

I'm so very glad that I just happened to take my break at work yesterday within 30 minutes of all those hacker posts...first thing I did was change my password, then checked my post history, and went through on clean-up duty.
Frustrating, but thankfully the extent wasn't as bad as it very well could have been.
