Some ASETs and WF diamonds - need feedback

ASET's are never going to be bad on an ACA. And they both look like outstanding ASET images.

If this is for a ring, I would definitely go for the larger G color stone, and in fact, my e-ring is also G VS1. The only reason I would even consider the other is if the recipient has expressed a strong preference for D-F color. You can probably see a slight difference in a G color next to an E, but on it's own, it will face up very bright and white. I cannot see any tint from the side whatsoever.

Spot on. ASETs on ACAs are brilliant, and G is a great color for an engagement ring. For me, personally, any color higher than G is overkill. :))

How bad is the ASET in the first one?

What did you see that prompted the question?

well in the first one, there were some green spots on the outer edge (which i presume means less light return), and a slightly darker shade near the upper-right-middle

Oh, I see.
Yes, absolutely nothing to worry about here :)) I know it can seem like there's conflicting info, sometimes judging what's photography and what's an artifact in the stone and translating what you see in the images to what you know will/won't have any effect at all IRL, visually, is more a function of having seen tons of those pics and stones than anything else... this is one of those cases where those artifacts in the photos will have absolutely no detriment on real-world beauty and light return, and the "darkness" is most likely due to tilt during photography. Like the previous posters have said, WF pre-screens their branded stones so you really can go in and choose blindly based on colour/clarity/carat/budget - you can do the same with BGD Signatures, GOG Signatures, Crafted by Infinity stones, and several other brands!
