Somebody's Gotta Buy This Piece!

I bought a small millenium cut from GB on ebay, it's like an emerald cut with a checkerboard table that's slightly convex. Very different, and it came in the original Goldsmiths box that looks like a little brown coffin. Someone on this forum has a big one that was picked up for a song, and I'm so envious. It's killer.
I have more odd things than valuable pieces but I love them.

That’s awesome @Ibrakeforpossums, not only to have a very unique cut of diamond but the coffin shaped box is an added bonus. Not something you see everyday and it’s cool to have something not many other people have.

Does this come up? Monipod, Feb. 6, 2020. Mine is smaller but has the curved band. Hers knocks my socks off.

PawnAmerica is very nice, very clean with good staff. I bought a .42 Princess ring from them because it has the Helzberg hallmark, and it's a great little pinky ring. And it was discounted because they'd had it for a while. They're worth keeping track of.

When I go to the link is says they’re all sold out- is that accurate or am
I doing something wrong?

I have no idea but I doubt you did something wrong. I would call one of the bigger stores, closer to St Paul, maybe.

@Ibrakeforpossums, wow found at a pawn shop…amazing! Yours may be smaller but wow I love the cut of these diamonds, so beautiful! Good stuff at the pawn shops, I found a rose cut diamond at a pawn shop, that was a surprise!

Are you going to the store website or the EBay website?

This is their main website:

I just watched her video, and the cut has a very "Matrix"-y, techno vibe to me. Very turn of the millennium, indeed.

Calling all McTeigue & McClelland lovers!

Super well priced (I got an offer on 1stDibs for $16k)

I was tempted for my e-ring, but I have my heart set on a cushion!

Gorgeous setting - and outstanding diamond!!! F color!!!!

FWIW anyone who is interested in millennium cut diamonds: there are a handful on ebay (mostly solitaire style)

That white gold carre cut! YadaYadaYada, where do you find these things?

4.20 carats, 6.5 inches. Good gracious it’s gorgeous and so close to my size. $6950! Somebody buy this before I black out. :D

I’m not really loving the modern moi et toi rings that are big right now… but pop in a bezel set antique cut and I’m a fan!
This one as at Marrow Fine Jewelry. Yum!5BCA9C25-AE38-4E9C-BA0C-994F89999495.jpeg

This is interesting! I like this more than many others - the proportions of a number of them seem really odd to me. But that antique pear…yum!

Agreed! I think the bezel setting one stone and the other in prongs also gives it something extra. It’s good
