Did anyone else watch this movie yet? I have a problem with the ending-I think most PSers would.

But I don't want spoil it!

OMG! I JUST watched this movie two days ago. I THINK I know what your issue is, but I guess we'll have to wait for a bit and see who responds before you reveal, IF you reveal.

Ooh is it good??? I want to watch it now!!!

It’s like a Hallmarky movie. Lite lift-may be watch it will you are doing chores or opening mail. I’m really curious to see what people think about the ending :lol-2:

My guess ...

At the ending a T & Co sales associate tells a shopping customer that to get the best light performance you have to sell both kidneys and an eye to buy a T & Co-graded D IF diamond. :naughty:

No, it’s more gauche than that (imo) :lol-2:

We watched it last night. I am pretty sure I know what you are referring to. In real life, of course that would be an issue lol. For the hallmark type movie, perfect ending.

I mean, who would turn it away???

Oh, I know.

T & Co. tells a customer that grading their own diamonds, instead of sending them to an independent lab like GIA, (as legitimate retailers do) is not a conflict of interest because T & Co. so special they'd never fib on a color or clarity grade. :evil2:

Oh it's more of a ethical conundrum imo. More to follow-after more have seen the movie

If you're referring to what I think your referring to, I had a moment's pause and then pondered Ethan's words and chose to think of it as the hand of fate correcting course for something that was misplaced. Kinda tacky and weird but the couple was weird from the get-go.

They were sort of a weird couple-I agree with you there. I don't know, maybe I'm too traditional-I mean I suspended my disbelief but-cmon :lol-2:

I get it. I still have a mild case of the ick about it. The Ethan and Rachel characters were written too wishy washy for me. Ethan was good eye candy but it greatly annoyed me how long he waited to rectify the situation and the way he did it. The writers certainly expected the audience to suspend disbelief. Cinderella was more believable and tightly written

I agree on all points. Slightly off topic, I just watched Christmas with You on Netflix. It's a better movie. But brace yourself if you have a Freddie Prinze Jr. fan...

It's weird but in my mind it's ingrained that he's Sarah Michelle Gellar's husband!!!! I can't see him as a love interest to anyone else. I don't even understand this since they're actors and I'm fine with everyone else, male or female!!!

I watched the movie last night. I’ll hold off on comments until you are ready to start a discussion @lulu_ma.

i watched it a few years back
it was my mum's favouirte movie (only found that out at her funneral)
i didnt really enjoy it
i cant even remember the end

i was just happy it finished

I saw Something From Tiffany’s last night and I thought there was a whole lot of weirdness in that movie. Gary comes across as a sociopath too.

@Daisys and Diamonds I believe that the movie your Mom liked was “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. A wonderful classic movie with Audrey Hepburn.

A few years ago, my hubby bought me a gift from Tiffany’s for Valentine’s Day. He also bought the movie on DVD and we watched it before he surprised me with my gift.
