Thank you for checking out my new pics diamondseeker!

I was dying to share them with you all. I''m so glad you think that it is beautiful as well. Makes me feel even more proud of my new pretty.

It''s funny b/c I get a little nervous sharing the ring in pics b/c I don''t feel as though it captures as beautifully in pictures as it is in real life. I''ve never taken pictures of other jewelry before so I''m not sure if that is always the case but I would love to be able to share what I actually see everyday looking at my ring in real life with all my PS friends.

Does that ever happen with you when you are taking pics of your jewelry?

Sarafineman -- Thank you very much!

I''m so happy with my ring and on occassion I will reread my story and get butterflies in my tummy thinking back to how wonderful that moment was and what a great job my fi did with the proposal.

I was happy to share it with you all so I''m glad that you enjoyed it!

I saw that you created a thread about a Jean Schlumberger (sp?) ring. His rings are dynamic. My friend was going to purchase the rosebud one and it was stunning! I don''t think that I could ever describe it to anyone and I don''t think that any picture would do it justice either. It''s just one of those rings you have to see in person to truly appreciate the work of art.
Have you seen the one I am not doing a good job of describing? Maybe they had it on display in Tiffany when you went to visit? It looks like a rosebud, kind of, with paved diamonds all around the bud part and the center stone is surrounded. Ugh. What a horrible description.

Enough rambling ... thank you again!

I used a Canon SD850is. I saw a picture just before Christmas that TGal had taken with hers and was sold on it. Had to have it and it suits my jewelry shot snapping pic purposes perfectly!

Yes ... a new camera is a must, however ... are you sure you can''t compromise and get an "ok" camera to take pics of your "new" ERD studs??? Come on??!!
