I am not very familiar with the proper lights for it. My hubby happens to use a black-light type tool at work so he brought it home to look at the stones. It's pretty nifty to see but once is enough for me!
Aw thank you! She and my dad married 56 years ago in 1963. I distinctly remember her getting it remade although I don’t think changed a lot, midway through the 80s. I think she really liked the retro style on jewellery and of course, NZ in the 60s was probably like the late 40-50s anyway!

Such pretty stacks lately! Today I wanted the "Wall of White Sparkles"! Love my newest bands, the marquise/round ones. I like how they mirror the two different "ends" of the pear shape!

Stacks from the last couple of days-
5 stone ring with a cool David Yurman Berries cable ring and Tiffany (plus my ever present Hermes leather Hapi and Kendra Scott). on the index finger is a piece of rutilated lemon quartz I got a couple of decade ago and had in a pendant. It occurred to me it was calibrated so I got an inexpensive setting and plopped it in, because I tend to wear scarves and not necklaces and now its had more wear in a week than in the past 20 years....
And back to my preference today...yellow gold... my old stone in its current YG setting paired with a couple of stackers (On the arm...Hermes KDT with Uno de 50 bracelet)

The big pictures are good... I hate it when someone posts little pictures and you have to squint to make out the faceting patternOh geez that is one hell & big pic ... sorry!
I hate how my new cell phone case reflects & makes my diamonds look hazy & tinted (FARRRR more than their actual color is/presents in person). In person, the diamond is super clean & clear and bright. If it weren’t such a PITA, I would pop the case off for bling pics.
Nevertheless, I am sporting my OEC stacked with my JA spacer and giving the MRB a rest for a few weeks.

Today's stack is almost the same as the other day, but I caught my pear doing some awesome stuff in a certain light, and tried to capture it. So hard to capture aren't they, but she looks fairly close in this pic as it did IRL! Still can't believe my dream diamond is on my finger..........

Full out bling today! I’m catching a flight where I have no checked baggage and I suspect my hand carry will be pretty close to the maximum weight allowed. The solution? Wear ALL the bling!
Here we have the DK band made from repurposed diamonds, my Zina pink diamond band and of course, the attention demanding CVB Norah!
