Starruby photo comps for Pregcurious

As requested in the gotta buy the stone thread here is a .53ct Argyle brown diamond I purchased from Starruby last September.

Their photos seem to be flooded with light, but based on my one purchase, it was true to life. The few photos I have aren't quite like the vendors (different style) but all are indicative of what I see IRL.

First up is the vendor photo. Looks to be taken indoors with fluorescent lighting. I can say that when I'm indoors with no natural light, I see the vendor photo

My first one was in a light box outside with natural light - far more brown than what I would normally see, but at that angle, my black camera and lighting environment it browned up nicely

Then between tweezers in full sun.

So then it comes with an Argyle memo? I know little about gemstones, and nothing about diamonds. forgive me...

About the Argyle...

It was listed as Argyle by the vendor, but I didn't pay the premium for provenance... so it may be suspect...

I don't know if Argyle really pays attention to their browns enough to memo them or inscribe them. I guess I'm just left with a nicely colored diamond with an unusual cut that may have come from the Argyle mines LOL

Maybe I should have put an asterisk in my original post saying as such

I don't recall all the specs for this stone, but I'm going to be sending off some stones to GIA for grading soon. I'll report back when I get them

There are two on ebay I confuse and this seller is one of them. Was this the one a few months back Kenny had a dustup with over a diamond, possibly green?

I would totally buy from them again... in fact there are a couple of stones I've been eying for a long time... But it will have to wait... I bought something else recently and it's time to set something
