Dream, I can't believe I was so upset, thinking back. I really think that some of us (not all, but some) don't give our guys enough credit. I definitely did not, and he had everything planned. Originally his plan was to do it on that Saturday, but I got sick so he couldn't and because he didn't want to do it on Christmas in front of anyone, that only left him with Monday or Tuesday LOL.
Thank you so much for your sweet words. I am so thankful to you all, but especially you Dream.
I have a bunch more pictures but they didn't come out that great. Ill keep taking more though, that's for sure. I know you all never tire of looking at diamonds, because I certainly don't!

Bia, this is simply a wonderful post - your story, its so REAL. I could see it just like a movie in my head. Your ring is phenomonal - I''m not a huge fan of RBs, but I would gladly take yours!
I love the thin band, and it''s beautiful on your hand. I also love it that, in retrospect, you feel like you didn''t give your guy enough credit. I have this feeling that although I''m soooo sick of waiting, B has some really special plan thought out...and it''s just not here quite yet. That''s fine. Someday, like you, I will have a beautiful ring and a fiancee and none of this agony will matter! Thanks for the great post.

Okay, Im back...had to take care of dinner and now, I have some free time to read and reply!
Firstly, thank you! I am blown away by all the wonderful compliments! It is heartwarming to read all of your replies...I too wish the best for fellow LIW, because if anyone knows its not easy waiting, its me! I have to admit, he did a great job. I love RB more than anything, so to know he chose one so perfect, makes me feel very special. Most of all, I feel lucky to have him...realizing he's my future husband (eek!) is so crazy and so wonderful. I'm really over the moon and so in love, its sickening
sammyj: Thanks! It was a wonderful surprise, for sure. As for being blinded lol its amazing how icy white my diamond can look, depending on the lighting..its really quite fun. One of my favorite times gawking thus far (because thats what I do--almost got into a head on collision staring at my ring the other day!
) is at a department store...my rings just screams under those lights!
swedish bean: Glad to know you approve girlfriend. PSers have THE GREATEST taste, so if you all like it, then I know its a winner! As for his antics, I know now never to underestimate him...he's on top of his game 100% when he wants to be...hehe.

Yipee and news_girl: Thanks to both of you! As far as proposals go, I think it was (as many other LIW say of their own) "perfectly us." I couldn't have asked for a better one. I'll try to take some more shots of my ring, hopefully the weather will cooperate in the next few days.

Before the engagement I was under the impression that he would get something in the 1.2 - 1.4ct range, and that anything smaller my hand might dwarf my stone (My hands are fairly average for someone who's 5'10 such as myself but my fingers aren't tiny) but its a really good size and I think its perfect!

I love reading about super-romantic-destination proposals (they sound like fairy tales sometimes) but I think if he had done something like that, I would have caught on, and keeping it a complete surprise was so important to him. I just wish I hadn't been so quick to write it off...I should have known better! So thank you!

Awww, Bia!!! That proposal was so sweet and thoughtful! Nice and personal, just the two of you. I actually teared up a little while reading it. FF was like "Whats wrong?" I said "Bia got engaged!" and he says, "Great, now did you move up on the list?" "Yes, I''m in the 20s now. Started around 105" "Too much pressure on me now," He says.
