Oh, wow, what a beautiful collection of step cuts! Your Asscher is stunning, and it compliments your husband’s emerald cut perfectly. I love that they’re both step cuts but different. And your ring is stunning as well!

Enjoy your new pendant. Oh, and as for the chain thickness...my vote would be that either would look great. Maybe you could wear one for a few days and then the other, and see which chain feels more right to you?

Very beautiful step cuts!!! I love the look on as a pendant and I love your eternity band! Great choices and absolutely beautiful, extremely bright, lively and well-performing stones!
What's nice about a pendant with a bale is that you can change the chain whenever you feel like it, for different looks, whenever it suits your mood!

Hi folks! @OoohShiny no new arrivals I'm afraid....we just bought an old church north of the city in the redwoods and we are in process of upgrading things there. Just invested in new plumbing/electrical/exterior paint job/bathroom reno/appliances/calacatta marble counters/furniture etc etc etc...needless to say no budget right now for any upgrades or additional bling splurges....for the moment...

@VDK1 Yeah vvs might be a it high but when I went to look at stones, I looked at an F a G and an H al within 2.2 - 2.6 cts and frankly the "H" spoke to me more. It had less leakage and a lot of movement with a bright middle and edge to edge performance. I think the VVS makes me feel a bit better about the H color but Honestly I'm pretty color blind (i took the test in the recent thread on Rockytalky and did not do well at all) so it does not bother me all that much.

@Tonks & @Blingalingaling Thanks for your lovely comments, I actually have it on a shorter and thinner chain and it's working out well. Honestly people don't really see it as I keep it under my shirt 99% of the time. I've been toying with setting it in a ring so I can see it more often but I'm not sure how to set it as I like bezel settings and that isn't recommended for step cuts - a tension setting could work but i have a feeling I'd damage it. Anyway - hope everyone is having a great day!

@Sfadman Oh yes, just look at the stone and get the one you like best! In my country, many people believe that a jem stone has "soul" and tells you the story of billion years of its existence. Also they believe a pureness of the stone will bring good luck to its owner!
