Hello! I'm new here. I posted over in the 1 ct and under thread, then decided I'd start my own!
Now that my husband and I are nearing our first anniversary, I thought I'd share my set. It arrived 6 days before we were married (we had a planned elopement), so I didn't get to wear my engagement ring by itself for very long. I don't know all the specs of the diamond; I do know it's 0.71 J colored. It's at the top end of cut for whichever certification it has, and is somewhere in the SI range. Setting is a Simon J "jacket" type, the rings must be put together and put on as one ring, as the wedding band fits inside the engagement ring. I swear I haven't stopped staring at it in the past year.
Someday I'll learn to take better photos of it, I promise it's much more sparkly in real life! If only I could figure out how to work that darn DSLR camera...oh well. Thanks for letting me share!
