Still Searching...another video of a Cushion

Hi All,

I think i may have found the one (Cushion). This is a 1.5 F, VS2...GIA cert...faces up very big for 1.5 when compared to other 1.5. Please comment on what you think of the video please! Thank you much!

Also, as an FYI, the depth on this stone is 56% and the table is 65%. Does that raise any red flags for anyone (based on those specs)? Thanks!

Doesn't look nearly as good as some of the others you have looked at, in my opinion. Do you have an ASET?

hi diamondseeker, i've requested it but do not have it (they arent sure their supplier can provide on but they are checking). this thing actually faces up much bigger than the others (7.2 X 6.7) and is a color F so I thought it might be better! i dont have videos of the others that had nice ASET's!!!

That video makes it appear that the stone does not have good symmetry, and I can see the blue background through the stone. So I am not very optimistic about it. If you want quality videos, you probably ought to have Good Old Gold source your cushions because they do the works, all the light performance tests and comparison videos. But I'd buy from a magnified image and an ASET before I'd buy from a video that has a stone with a center that doesn't look well cut. I think you are excited about the spread, but that doesn't make a good stone alone.

It looks leaky to me as well. It's not a great video, 6 seconds and too far away, but it didn't appear to have much promise.

you are right, this is the worst graded symmetry diamond i have seen, it is only 'good' on the GIA report!

Thanks for the feedback, I told the vendor I need to see an ASET before going any further on that stone!
