To update from my last post:
So I found out (or at least he''s leading me to believe--a little LIW paranoia lurks, haha) that he is not quite in possession of the ring. Rather than bust his savings all at once, he''s making payments on the ring, and there are "just a couple more" left.
Which leads me to think that he might have spent more than I originally thought the budget was for... yikes! But he seems mighty pleased with the ring.
He asked me if I wanted to see a picture of it, and of course I said no. LOL I told him pictures wouldn''t do it justice & I didn''t want to see it until I could take it home to gloat in private. He laughed at that.
I fly home tomorrow, so I rather doubt I''m getting the proposal I hoped I''d get during this trip, but he''s also announcing his resignation at his job soon, so perhaps that will free up some time for him to come visit me....
But... at least I know the proposal is coming within the next few months.
