Any experience using these websites?

Stone algo seems to be pushing RockHer very very hard, I am deeply suspicious as a person. Any trusted people on here used them and care to share experiences? Same with Firefly. Their prices seem super low. Most of the stones have post growth treatment (which I dont care about) so maybe thats why?

From what I’ve noticed, I don’t think they necessarily push Rockher, it’s just that a particular diamond may be cheaper on that site than the other vendors they work with so it’ll direct you there. You can search the same IGI number and it will be on other sites usually for more, sometimes less if they’re not one of the vendors on Stonealgo. Friendly diamonds is actually a sponsor on that site and it doesn’t always direct you there either, only if it’s cheaper.

Never heard of Firefly, do you have a link?

lol reading the url, what i thought was firefly is actually friendly diamonds.

Friendly diamonds and rockher are both normal vendors, but often have cheaper prices. So no one is pushing them, persay, but sites like stonealgo tell you which vendors are cheapest

It does pay to check - Stonealgo said that Friendly was their cheapest stockist for my stone but B2C was actually cheaper.

Aside from B2C that Kyton mentioned, also check for the diamond(s) being listed at Ritani.

They all seem to be pulling from the same virtual inventory feeds, so shop around to compare prices and perks.

I had a very good experience at Rockher last year.

I'm late to this thread but I had a terrible experience with Rockher - worst merchant I've ever worked with for any purchase, period.

We purchased 2 oval diamonds before our engagement - Sun Diamond was relatively easy to work with, customer friendly - Rockher on the other hand - is currently refusing to return almost six thousand dollars of my money without any evidence, claiming I did not follow their return policy (because I used the same box they shipped it in, which I did with Sun Diamond as well, no problem). Even though I followed every single instruction their "return department" - who appears to be just their CEO using a fake alias (they use a bunch - Caroline Rockher, Michael Rockher, etc - one email even was sent from one name and signed with another person's name) to liaise misleadingly with customers - gave me. Rockher claims they received no diamond in the package and refuses to provide the video they claim to have of them opening it on camera, or any of the investigation they claim Fedex has completed.

I'm now working with my credit card company and a consumer protection lawyer now to fight back against Rockher - would avoid this company at absolutely all costs. Absolutely disgusted by them.
