I have an entire box of vintage jewelry all bagged and ready to go, you know you want to come to CT for the weekend and buy some stuff! We have an amazing downtown, we could grab an organic coffee afterwards, or tea or hell... shots if you want.
But, but..... I have plans to go to the NM State Fair!
We're going to pet the baby animals and look at the prize winning pies and eat funnel cakes!
But, really, I would LOVE to come shop at your sale and hang with you Stephanie! I could help you out, and count change, etc!
Plus, I wanna see the new kitty!
Oh see, I can't compete with baby animals and yummy fair food! Fairs are the best part of Fall in New England, and possibly the best part of New England period lol! I hope you have a great time and have a yummy treat for me.
Can I just tell you this cat is a maniac?! Seriously you forget about the manic kitten stage where they literally scale everything in sight and leave you looking a torn up hot mess. He is a cutie though so it's all worth it.
I would just sell you all the jewelry so cheap so you could put it in your booth. DH said someone is going to come along and offer to buy it all....we'll see!
You will laugh, but my favorite fair food is from the falafel booth!
I have been to your part of the world Stephanie. When the leaves change it is awesome! We took a road trip through CT, MA, NH, VT, ME some years ago.
Of course, I was raised in PA, so not that far away.
Fall in NM is just not the same. We don't have the maple trees, but the aspens turn yellow.
$300 is great! Now you have to do this every year. It's a good way to get rid of excess stuff that accumulates over the past year.
We ate junk at the fair. I had a huge plate of curly fries, and hubby had a pulled pork sandwich. Then we had ice cream cones. I usually have the falafel, but changed my mind at the last minute. It was a mistake, as the fries were kinda disappointing.
Here are some cute animals we saw today.
The turkey was truly impressive. He was huge and kept puffing himself up. So interesting to see!
