Decision made!! I'm going with the oval! It has more saturation and compared to the pear it's just overall more eye candy. Thank you everyone for your help and input, you're all very helpful and I would not have been able to make this decision without you! Low quality and asymmetrical cut or not, this is my first pad and I may change my mind in the future, but it's a keeper! I may not get it set for a while but it will definitely be admired from within its case (and sometimes, outside)
