Stud earring backs

I picked up my new studs from the jeweler yesterday and the backs they came with weren’t wide enough. I had some that were bigger but still had a little bit of drooping. I ordered some jumbo backs to try from Amazon and they came today and are perfect!

My question is should I get them in white gold or does it not matter that they’re sterling silver? Also, I’m considering the Chrysmela back due to security. I don’t ever take my earrings off…shower, sleeping, working out, etc.

personally, I'd get them in whatever gold your stud settings are made of.

I would go with the Chrysmala backs. I think they are also referred to as Lapoissette(sp). My daughter one earring due to the backs coming off. I got her the ones above, and they don’t fall off. Good luck.

I think the locking earring backs might fail if you routinely shower with your earrings on. If you wear your earrings 24/7, then I think it might be safer to double back them (gold jumbo backs plus a silicone back for extra security).
