Hi ladies,

My .5ct studs are really lovely but too small :) You all know the way this works! DSS hits now I have upgraded my e-ring.

I wondered if any of you have any diamond studs that are 1-1.5 total weight that you want to rehome.?

SI or better preferred, but clean I1 works too.

Thanks!

I don’t - just wanted to share I know the feeling. I had 1ctw studs for what feels centuries. I loved them, wore them all the time and felt they are quite big. I recently got a pair of 2ctw. Arrived and first they felt huuuuuuuuge! A couple weeks later I totally got used to them. Just today I put on the old ones and though... oh goodness... they are tiny... so maybe go for 1.5 instead of 1 ctw?

Ha, that is exactly how this works. Congrats on the bounteous new studs. Sorry they "shrank" the old ones :)
I bet they're beautiful. Personal question but are they comfortable? Do you wear them to bed? I've wondered about how that would feel with bigger studs. I wear mine frequently at night. Bad habits.

Oh yes, they are comfortable - now I think I would not want bigger... let’s talk next year. But I usually don’t wear any jewellery to bed. Only if I forget to take it off. Someone might chime in here?

I wore earrings to bed all the time before but it stretches your ears so now I don't. Even when I wore earrings to bed though, I always took my studs off because they were uncomfortable for sleeping in for me. They are 1.01ct each for 2.02 total ctw.
I have smaller ear lobes so I definitely wouldn't go larger than 1ct on each side, but I suppose if they were to be drop style earrings...

Are you looking for MRBs or OECs? I have a LT listing for OEC earrings 1.4ctw. I’m trying to post them on DB but DB is not letting me sign in. I have the correct login info and I’ve requested to get a new password 3 times but haven’t received an email.

I have 1 CTW princess cuts I'm selling! I VS2 :)

I love OEC earrings. Can you share pictures?

Thanks @anon34985. I prefer something round. I appreciate you telling me about them. I hope you can get them listed and sold quickly. Can you access Diamond Bistro?

I started a listing on DB @eh613c , so feel free to contact me there.

I will. Mine are just shy of 2 cttw and I wear them nonstop unless I'm putting on something else special and dangly.

I could EASILY go bigger...

@MMtwo wishing you good luck on your stud journey. My only advice is go bigger than you think you want. DSS is real.

Thank you, Missy! You know, I do believe you are right! I have absolutely perfect .50 studs. They are d-e, well-cut diamonds with a Gemex report. They are perfect for me and now and too small. La Pousette backs in a 4 prong setting. Wow, look how white next to my new "L " e-ring. still too small

I'll be selling these. I cannot see myself reaching for smaller earrings when I have larger ones.
DSS.

Those are so dainty and perfect if you have additional piercings!

Those are gorgeous. Pack a powerful and bright punch in a delicate and delicious package. Maybe for your second piercing?

Hmmm, good idea to look at that. Thank you.

Oops, I said martini, but they are a 4 prong. That is something to consider. Knowing my budget, I probably will not upgrade to white larger earrings. My budget is not quite that generous. I could consider labs though. Thanks!

I’d keep them. They are gorgeous. And there are situations in life where they might be the right choice even if you have bigger. My husband thinks it hilarious that I have hiking and skiing diamonds (different ones) but hey - a girl needs diamonds for every life situation, right?

Thank you! I had not considered that. I wear pearls very often, but tend to be careful not to wear them in places they may get dirty, too much sun...etc. Diamonds are the die-hard indestructible choice. I had not considered there might be places where I would not want larger diamonds, but you are 100% on point with considering the choice.
