This diamond has a bit in common with my diamond (I think they were cut around the same time), though the angles on mine are more complementary, and the table on mine is 58%. Still, I have tossed around the idea of a recut for performance and architecture. The thing is, if I were to have it recut, I'd want an OEC rather than a MRB, and I'd lose too much weight (and lose the 5ct mark). Since yours is between 4 and 5 anyway, and it's an inherited (rather than paid for) stone, I would wholeheartedly recommend a recut. Here's my thread on a recut I had done on a smaller stone.

That said, I love the little flower in the center of my big diamond, and I love how it looks like a heart in some lighting, and I can move it back and forth and make the heart appear bigger and smaller. I would miss that if I did a recut. Your table being 66%, though, really could be significantly improved with a recut. As it is, you have a big dead zone around the little flower. That would be brighter if recut.
