Suggestions? SF Bay area

We're trying to quickly throw together a post wedding get together for a few friends and family members...

Hoping for no more than 30-35 people total.

Does anyone have any recommendations of places in the bay that could manage this number of people for an affordable price? We are trying to stay closer to $1500 total, but up to $2000.

I live in SF and there are a TON of places that can do this. You need to narrow down based on cuisine, neighborhood, or something. A good place to look is yelp actually and check good for groups. I don't even know where to start on suggesting places because there are literally hundreds. Try calling your favorite restaurants or wine bars and see what they can do for you with a prix fixe menu.

I'm not from the Bay, but FI is. He hasn't really lived there since HS though, and his family is farther out (Vallejo) than we wanted to be... I really have no idea how to narrow it down. My visits to the Bay have mostly been to campuses... I tried to rent space at Berkeley's botanical gardens, but they have no parking available for that day because the other facilities are booked all day. Most of the places that I saw that accomodate groups seemed pretty pricey...
