For a very special treat, some of my friends were invited to Tiffany's flagship Fifth Avenue store where we got to tour their bench jewelers - where they handmake custom jewels (each piece millions of dollars!) and try on all the jewels as we breakfasted in their vault!
I knew I could not keep the goodies to myself and had to share with my fellow jewelry lovers!
I had no idea they had jewelers upstairs making custom jewelry. I wish I had taken more pictures but I was too busy drooling and trying on all of the incredible pieces! There was one piece that a woman had ordered with large diamond encrusted flowers and 12 carat colored stones that she handpicked from their selection - it was tremendous. Each flower was so lifelike and painstakingly created with no detail overlooked. Wow, what a lucky lady. I think they said the piece was around two million dollars. Swoon. I have to wonder where she would wear such a piece?
These pieces are in what they call the vault - special order items that are housed in a secret room upstairs. It was breathtaking! They even have a butler in a tuxedo taking tea orders and Tiffany specialists opening any case you want to try on the beautiful jewels as you lounge around eating delicious treats! Definitely an experience of a lifetime! I'm sorry I didn't snap more photos - it was so magical I kind of forgot myself and went into a trance!
I knew I should share with my fellow jewelry lovahs!
