You and Alexis are too funny! I must confess though, that huge ring is giving me DSS! I might halo Holly as a result of this! I blame you, he he... It must be closer to 20ct, that'd be my guess. I had the pleasure of trying on a Tiffany 12ct, also with a tiny delicate yummy halo and whilst it was def huge, it wasn't as big as the one in your pics.

I have to say, that giant RB ring is actually TOO big for me. Never thought I would say that!

I don't think so. In fact, I'm glad it had a halo...it needed a little bit of pump in the spread.

Ahhhhhhh!!! What a thrill that you all enjoyed the eye candy, too! I love that we got to ogle them together!

So blingy! I am kicking myself for not taking more photos now! Here are a couple more! The funny thing is, the items in the vault - I don't remember any of them being locked. The doors on the jewelry cases just swung open. Of course an associate was there to take them out and hand them to you but it was just a free for all!

Here are the matching earrings to that ginormous solitaire ring!!! This would look awesome on Phoenix's toes!

I wish I could have taken all of you lovely lovely PSers with me to Tiffany! We could live there for weeks - surviving on bling, tea and cakes! I promise to respond to everyone individually this weekend when I have more time! In the meantime, here is one more shot of that ring - which I now recall was close to $2 million. I think the tennis necklace was $1 million... of course, things get foggy when one is wearing bling of that magnitude so I will be the first to confess that my brain switched off. If it was within my realm of purchasing power, I would have listened harder but what's the difference of $1-2 million when you know you're not going home with it? LOL

It's a very fun story of how we got to go on the trip, which I'll share later. Love the bling! Sigh! I really became a fan of Tiffany all over again seeing the incredible craftsmanship and experiencing some of the history.

Tacori E-ring, your ring has always been of of my top faves. For years. I have never seen anything like it in real life. That is one style that stands the test of time. LOVE.

Diamondseeker!!!!! Hahahahahahaha! You know me TOO well! I have a long story of the e-ring upgrade, which I'll post once I get it. DH wants to propose again and is waiting for the "right moment" so who knows when that will be? All I have are a few pics to tide me over as I wait! Geez, never thought I would have to re-live this LIW thing. LOLOLOL

Yekutiel is so amazing. He called Vatche and they graciously agreed to redo the head for me. They also custom re-fitted the enhancer, which is going to go bye bye. I really don't like it with my upgrade. It is too much! Also, the three stone look was my favorite when my center stone was close to 3 carats in spread - but now, with a four carat spread, it looks too busy and also, I feel it doesn't need it at all. The center stone gets lost and looks smaller in one mish mash. I'll try to post pics for comparison before I take the side stones out for leverbacks!

MissGotRocks, you know I aspire to emulate your classic collection... Your classic three stone is what led me on this journey! It is huge and gorgeous!

It is also really nice to encounter a size where you honestly say, "No way... LOL....too big!" Never thought I would say that! I think my top RB carat size is probably around 5-6! Ha! But this is my final upgrade forever and ever, I am sure.

mom2boys - YOUR RING!!!! Is perfection!!!!!! The proportions are perfect!!!!!!! How I have tried to achieve such balance and eye pleasing beauty. Yours is the three stone, along with MissGotRocks, I will stare at if I ever miss the look. It is so classic and blingy. VERY PRETTY!!!!

Yekutiel at IDJ found me the mazal-iest of mazal stones!

It's a 3.98 GIA G SI2 triple ex. Rare to be eyeclean! Guess who I ran into when I was seeing it? WHITBY!!!! Even she was blown away by how clean it was when she louped it - she said it was the cleanest SI stone she had ever seen. There is a feather in the pavilion that we covered in the setting. Top down, nothing! It had just been "born" when I saw it - the GIA cert had come out a couple of days ago and there were already 6 people calling for it. But I had first dibs (WHEW) so we got to keep it! It would have been sold in a flash.

OMG, it's heaven! When Yekutiel was holding it from across the room it looked like he was holding a huge crystal ball that was just going crazy under the lights. So big! Yikes! Gulp. Don't know if I can pull it off!

It has a spread of a 4.2-ish carat but without the unlucky number 4 in it. I'm weird with numbers! Even DH didn't want the number 4 in it, which is odd because I would have been just fine with a 4.98 carat, too!

Anyway, more pics to come! Wish I had more but I promise to start a new thread with real pics once I get the ring!
