I found a diamond that has a pretty big table of 62%, but has an HCA of 2.0. Is this ok to buy? Below are specs.

Depth: 59.9
Table: 62
Crown angle: 33
Pavilion angle: 41

Cut, polish, and symmetry are all excellent

It's a much larger table than most here would recommend. I would be worried about glare. Have you seen this stone?

I personally wouldn't buy it, although if you like it and can get an idealscope image, it might be fine. I limit the table to 58 max because I think it is more attractive to have more crown showing. Also, I prefer the crown to be between 34-35.

my limit is 56% max.i'd prefer a 54-55% table..

I think table is large, I would personally prefer between 54 to 58, if you have seen
the stone and like it than you should go for it or you could request for idealscope

I'd only consider 62% depth, but not 62% table even if the HCA is 2.

Have you seen a stone with a table that size in real life? You may want to look first to see if you like that look. Regardless of the HCA, that stone is going to have a very different look than a stone with a smaller table. I had a stone with a .5 on the HCA and the table was slighly smaller than other than my other diamonds and it helped me realize what my preferred table size is... everyone had a preferred size and seeing on the computer screen and using the HCA isn't always the easiest way to determine that.
