I think it''s tacky, but I think lots of things that are acceptable these days for weddings is tacky. And I also think, it''s your wedding, so if you want to do tacky, it''s your business...it may not be tacky to others anyway.
But I see it as weird - using your wedding day as a reason to donate to charity at the expense of your guests (i.e., their favors, which admittedly, who cares about anyway). Makes it seem like it''s all about what you want vs a little token of appreciation for them. Who wants a cause shoved down their throat?
