Tacori on overstock.com?

Hi there,
When I was engaged almost 10 yrs ago, my husband bought my (platinum and diamond) Tacori setting on overstock.com for a steal. But before he gave it to me, he lost any and all documentation that accompanied the ring. I'm not even sure if it ever came with an authorized retailer card. It came set with a CZ and we took it to a chain store and had it set with a lovely stone (probably paid way too much, but hey, I didn't know any better and I still love it). I have never had a problem with any of the stones and just take it back to the chain to be checked and cleaned periodically.
BUT I want another ring for an anniversary. I am thinking of buying the ring from overstock again, as they have one of the settings I love for a price that can't be beat. But can anyone give me advice about this? I'd like a fancy colored diamond center, and if I ordered from, say, DBL or Good Old Gold, would I just have them ship the stone to me? Would I have to send it to Tacori to set the stone, and how would I do that if I ordered both stone and mounting online? Would a jeweler here be willing to try, and would that void the workmanship on the Tacori?
Thanks for any and all advice you can give. I'm having trouble finding anywhere in my city that offers the colors I want for a price I can afford and this seems like the best way to get bang for my dollars.

HI:

Not sure if I can help, but....

Mulloy's jewellers has many Tacori and other designer rings in their "Last call" section. Don't know how prices compare to overstock.com, but if Mulloy's is an AD, perhaps warranty will be provided.

I would call. I have always received good customer service when I've called.

Ebay buy from either someone you can meet or a reliable jeweller - many clear stock and display items via Ebay. Some people upgrade and sell their settings... Make sure they accept returns. For example, the same jeweller mentioned above also sells stock on ebay.

These are great, thank you! Mulloys is a good place to bookmark, I had never even heard of them. And I'm going to try ebay too! But it still leaves the question of who sets the stone? The diamond vendor, or Tacori? I guess I could ask the store selling settings as well.

You guys are lovely, thanks for the guidance!
