Takahashi natural white strand – opinions needed!

And omg don't feel bad for even a minute about buying from a local vendor! Noone here would ever recommend buying blind when you've got exactly what you want in front of you! It's all just sales, there's no bad juju - you could absolutely go back to Takahashi for something else at some point and they'd be happy to see you

But given where you're located and the sorts of pearls you have access to in-person... Well, let's just say I'm looking forward to following along with your pearling adventures

Please post tons more photos!! This strand does look to have lots of pink! But from your pics a bit less silver than your Mikimoto. They're very wearable together IMO! I do like this size on you, as well - and if one day you "outgrew" this strand and wanted a bigger necklace you could turn it into a triple strand bracelet or something...

Thank you for the kind words! I apologised profusely to Takahashi and they were very understanding.

My strand is pinker than my studs, but not as pink as it appears in photos. Lighting and cameras do such funny things to pearls! I wish I had half of your photography skills because my pictures don't do any of my pearls justice.

I've already had some more pearling adventures (over the past few months), which I posted on Show Me Your Pearls . I'm also going to Japan in December (including Kobe!) and you KNOW I'll be visiting Takahashi in person then
